Welcome to Da Nang City

Da Nang City is located in the middle of Central Vietnam, between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, separated from Laos by the western Truong Son Mountains. Danang is a commercial center and is the fourth largest port in Vietnam, there are numerous agriculturally oriented small industries in the city with handicraft enterprises, especially in production of sea fishing equipment.

Topography is rather complex. The south is impressive Hai Van Pass with Mang Mountain 1,708m, Ba Na Mountain 1,487m. The east is Son Tra Peninsula, an ideal site of yellow sand beaches, historical remains, and rare bird and animal species. The south is Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains). The seashore is Hoang Sa archipelago with a large fishery.

Bach Dang , the largest street, stretches for about 3 km along the water front to a point where Nguyen Van Troi Bridge crosses the Han River. From here, people can see the single spire of the Pinkish colored Danang Cathedral built in 1923. Interesting appointed places such as Marble Mountains and Cham Museum .

Highlights of Danang:

  • Cham Museum
  • Marble Moutains
  • Hai Van Pass (Sea Cloud Pass)
  • Beaches: Tien Sa, My Khe, China, Non Nuoc…
  • Han River
  • Ba Na Mountain
  • Son Tra Peninsula
